We have spent at least one weekend for the last 4 summers we like this park. (for a state park) The pros we like the fact you can walk over the bridge and are at the beach. the bathrooms on the west side of the park are very nice we have never stayed on the east side of the campgrounds. The staff has always been nice to us. The cons It is a state park and some of the sites are small most are ok .The beach is very rocky for about 30 feet wear water shoes the rocks are sharp we found a short drive east to the port crescent day use area the beach is really nice the waves really were coming in the days we were down there It is worth the 15 min drive this is a hidden treat you can walk the beach.
