Location: 5.5 miles of North Luther
via State Road
|

Park Information:
Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No
reservations. There are 26 sites for tent and small
trailer use located on the scenic Pine River. This campground offers opportunity
for hiking and mountain biking on its Silver Creek Pathway. Nearby canoe landing
provides access to the river. Rustic campground includes vault toilets and
potable water from well hand pump.

Mitchell State Park Heritage Fisheries and Wildlife Nature Study
Area is a large, shallow impoundment where a variety of wildlife
can be seen such as ducks, geese, herons, other wetland birds,
deer, beaver, muskrat, raccoon, and turtles (20 miles NE).

Pine River (on site): Brown/Rainbow Trout. Silver Creek (on site): Brown/Rainbow Trout.
- Canoeing
This campground is accessible by water with carry-in access on
the Pine River.
- Hiking
Silver Creek (on site): 4 miles of rolling terrain extending
from Lincoln Bridge State Forest Campground to Silver Creek
State Forest Campground. Pine Valley (8 miles SW): 8.2 miles of slightly rolling terrain.
Hike, mountain bike, cross-country ski.
- Mountain Biking
Silver Creek (on site): 4 miles of rolling terrain extending
from Lincoln Bridge State Forest Campground to Silver Creek
State Forest Campground.
- Other
Lincoln Hills (adjacent to campground): 21 miles of cycle/ATV
trail and 23 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route. Little Manistee (8 miles SW): 46 miles of motorcycle trail and
47 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route.
