Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No
reservations. There are 42 sites for tent and small trailer use spaced out
generously along Lake Huron. Facilities include a day use area with tables and
grill, sandy beaches , and a barrier-free boardwalk out to Lake Huron. Rustic
campground includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump.
Fishing Lake Huron (on site): Walleye, Salmon, Trout, Bass. Devils Lake (4 mi NW): Bullhead. Devils River (adjacent to campground): Brook Trout, Bullhead.
Hiking Ossineke (On site): 1 mile of trail.
Mountain Biking Ossineke (On site): 1 mile of trail.
Boating Access Site/Launch - Access for boating and fishing. Boat ramp½ mile SW of campground on Washington St. Lake Huron: Ramp access2 miles SE at end of Nicholson Rd. Devils Lake (4 miles NW off Piper Rd): Ramp access.
Other Devils Lake (5 miles NW off Piper Road): 10 miles of full-sized vehicle ORV
