We had a great time at
the campsite here. There is a nice
playground for the kids, a store with
free coffee, hot showers, and large
flat, dry, campsites. Our kids loved the
playground and we could see them from
our site. The showers and store were a
short distance too. The bathrooms &
showers were clean. And the store was
full of stuff we forgot. lol Everyone we
came into contact with was polite and
very nice.
We, too, came in late our first night
and (we had 5 kids with us) and were a
bit loud with trying to set up our
tents. The owner's asked us (after about
two hours of us making noise) to try to
wrap it up because there were people
sleeping. By this time it was close to
1am. We completely understood. We
finished up and were quiet as soon as we
could. The owner's were not rude to us
at all. (Probably because we were not
rude to them.) They have quiet hour at
11pm and I think that is great for a
family campground. When you have little
ones with you, you really need them to
sleep. If you want a party campground,
this campground isn't for you. But if
you want a great place to stay, and have
a fun time for your kids...Oak Knoll is
it. We plan on going back next year, and
I would recommend this campground to
everyone!!

Ps. They have wood for sale in the
store. People these days are very picky
about wood with that ash thing going on.
No reason to get your own out of the
woods. |
