Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No
reservations. There are 8 sites for tent and small
trailer use located on Mud Lake offering boating, fishing, and scenic hiking
trail from Big Mud Lake to Pike Lake. Rustic campground includes vault toilets
and potable water from well hand pump.
Designated Watchable Wildlife Site The wooded area surrounding Big Mud Lake is home to numerous song birds and
small animals. Enjoy wandering along Green Pine Lake Pathway to view the terrain
and wildlife between Mud Lake State Forest Campground and Pike Lake.
Fishing Big Mud Lake (on site): Bass, Bluegill. Big Lake(9 miles SW): Bass, Bluegill.
Hiking Green Pine Lake (on site): 8.5 miles of flat to slightly rolling terrain leading
from Big Mud Lake to Pike Lake. Non-looped.
Mountain Biking Green Pine Lake (on site): 8.5 miles of flat to slightly rolling terrain leading
from Big Mud Lake to Pike Lake. Non-looped.
