There are 24 sites for tent and trailer use, all are large enough to accommodate
40-ft vehicle/trailer. Located near Lewiston on quiet Little Wolf Lake. Rustic
campground includes vault toilets and potable water from well hand pump.
Designated Watchable Wildlife Site Pigeon River country Elk Range is home to the largest free roaming elk herd east
of the Mississippi River. Several elk viewing sites have been established
although the elk can be seen throughout the area.
Fishing Little Wolf Lake (on site): Panfish. East Twin Lake (1 mile NW): Bass, Pike. West Twin Lake (3 miles NW): Bass, Muskie, Perch, Bluegill, Pike.
Hiking State Forest Pathways: Buttles Road (6 miles NW): 7 miles of rolling terrain. Big Bear Lake (7 miles West): 2.2 miles of rolling terrain.
