This campground is nicely
wooded. The sites were grass/sandy.
There is no set way to park campers in
the site. (Some were sideways, some
straight back in and others angled) The
pool was a good size and nicely heated.
The front of the campground houses most
seasonal campers and felt more like a
trailer park. The back of the park was
rustic with mostly weekend campers. The
biggest problems were the bathrooms and
lack of security. The bathrooms/showers
were dirty and in great need of
repainting and major cleaning. Most of
the time there were at least 2-3 plugged
toilets. Large groups of teenagers
gathered at night around bathhouse and
basketball courts drinking and using
obscenity. This went on until after 3am.
We camped across from the basketball
court/game/pool area and the kids had
fun with everything being so close.
Weeknights there is a movie that plays
on an outdoor screen for the kids. We
were expecting more of a clean, family
(small children) friendly campground.
Lots of drinking, partying and
unsupervised teenagers. Friends
witnessed several fights across from
their campsite (front campground area) |
