Location:
Lake County - 3 miles West of
Luther via Old M-63 and Kings Highway

Park Information:
Sites available on a first-come, first-serve basis. No
reservations. There are 25 sites for tent and small
trailer use, 1 of which can accommodate 40-ft vehicle/trailer. Located along the
Little Manistee River with good trout fishing, Off-Road Vehicle route accessible
from campsite. Rustic campground includes vault toilets and potable water from
well hand pump.
- Designated Watchable Wildlife Site
Mitchell State Park (25 miles NE): Heritage Fisheries and Wildlife Nature Study
Area is a large, shallow impoundment where a variety of wildlife can be seen
such as ducks, geese, herons, other wetland birds, deer, beaver, muskrat,
raccoon, and turtles.
- Fishing
Little Manistee River (on site): Brown/Rainbow Trout. Pine River (8 miles NE): Brown/Rainbow Trout.
- Canoeing
This campground is accessible by water with carry-in access to the Little
Manistee River on site.
- Hiking
Pine Valley (5 miles NW): 8.2 miles of slightly rolling terrain. Hike, mountain
bike, and cross-country ski. Silver Creek (8 miles NE): 4 miles of rolling terrain extending from Lincoln
Bridge State Forest Campground to Silver Creek State Forest Campground. Hike,
mountain bike.
- Off-Road Vehicle Trails/Routes
Little Manistee (access from campground): 46 miles of motorcycle trail and 47
miles of full-sized vehicle ORV route. Lincoln Hills (7 miles NW): 21 miles of cycle/ATV trail and 23 miles of
full-sized vehicle ORV route
